This Vanity Fair article was a fascinating look at Microsoft’s three CEO’s. I thought this quote in particular illustrated Ballmer and Microsoft’s last 10 years or so.
Ballmer, who likes to use the phrase “the tyranny of or” to describe the horror of being forced to choose between alternatives, wanted to preserve all his options.
